Founded in the year 2008, SkillSonics offers, exclusively, the Swiss Vocational Education Training (VET) programs for technicians in the Indian manufacturing industry. Thereby, enabling manufacturing companies to build a high quality skilled technical workforce to address their growth plans and compete globally. SkillSonics vocational courses are modeled with Swiss content and pedagogy. The Swiss Vocational Education and Training (VET) model produces skilled workers who are considered to be the backbone of thriving economies with global competitiveness. SkillSonics, an NSDC partner company, has forged exclusive partnerships with Swiss organizations- the private industry association of the Swiss Mechanical and Electrical Manufacturing Industries (SWISSMEM) and the Swiss Federal government Institute for Vocational Education and Training (SFIVET), to adapt the Swiss VET model in the Indian context.
